Terri is well known to both the Quebec and the Ontario real estate markets and has an extensive background in commercial lending, asset management, and commercial mortgage brokerage.



Terri began her career in 1986 as a commercial lender in Toronto. In 1994, she moved back to her hometown of Montreal where she founded an asset management company which managed over $500 million of commercial and residential real estate assets for various financial institutions. From 2003 to 2009 she worked at one of the largest commercial brokerage companies in Canada.

In November of 2009, Terri Smith founded Smith Capital Inc.  Using the contacts she has developed during her career in real estate, she has assembled a network of leading lenders having head offices in Quebec, Ontario and British Columbia.  These lenders offer some of the best rates and the highest loan amounts in the country.  In addition, Terri has assembled a team of professionals including; appraisers, environmental surveyors, insurance brokers, notaries and lenders. This team, lead by Ms. Smith, will provide all the necessary services during the financing process.
